CHINA IN COLOR

We raised More Than RMB 30,000 For Local Charity Shanghai Sunrise Shanghai, Friday 16 November 2018

I teamed up with St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation and Haworth to co-host “China in Color”, an exclusive charity photo exhibition featuring a few of my selected works. The event took place at Haworth Organic Workspace in Jing’an Kerry Centre and together we raised over RMB 30,000 to support Shanghai Sunrise’s high school and university scholarship program for underprivileged students in Shanghai.

The event featured 22 highly-saturated colour images exploring the unique lights and textures that have caught my eye in China. My works were presented in high quality aluminum-backed Plexiglas® acrylic face mounting style.

This was the second exhibition I have done in support of Shanghai Sunrise, of which I am a board Member. I was thrilled at the opportunity  to display my work in a beautiful environment, and to help a cause very close to my heart.

A deep thank you to our event hosts and to everyone who made donations and purchased artworks at our event. As Lillian Zhao, the Executive Director of Shanghai Sunrise (2018), said: “This wonderful event will provide some vital funds for our continued work in the community. We could truly not do what we do without the generous support of partners such as these.”
